Very Sad News. Husband of Kim Poteat from Moms for Liberty, was tragically killed over the weekend.

August 31, 2026: Heartbreaking news this morning. Kim's husband Mark died last night. Mark drives a tractor trailer. Something happened to the truck. It jerked to the right and he went off the interstate hitting a tree. He died instantly.

Kim who runs Moms for Liberty in Buncombe County, is a wonderful friend and warrior for parental rights and children's safety in schools. Kim is the matriarch of the family, and she is the one who holds the family together. She has been to many of our meetings.

Please pray for her as she navigates through these next days when she has to make many decisions.

The service is at 4PM on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026.
