Buncombe schools blocked from implementing Title IX amendment protecting gay and transgender students from bullying, harassment https://www.ashevilleteaparty.org/post/buncombe-schools-blocked-from-implementing-title-ix-amendment-protecting-gay-and-transgender-student New Title IX Rule on Gender Identity Now Blocked in 21 States The U.S. Supreme Court is considering whether to allow the rule to partially go into effect in some of the affected states. https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/new-title-ix-rule-on-gender-identity-now-blocked-in-21-states-5694182?ea_src=author_manual&ea_med=related_stories DOJ Asks Supreme Court to Allow Some Blocked Title IX Rule Changes The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed an emergency application on July 22 asking the Supreme Court to allow some parts of the changes the federal government made to Title IX rules related to sex discrimination, which were blocked by a lower court. The DOJ is arguing that the wholesale pause to the rule changes was “more burdensome” than necessary, asking the Supreme Court to limit the district court’s injunction to 10 states and to only those changes related to gender identity. In the emergency application, U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar argued that the more than two dozen states challenging the expansion of Title IX rules focused their objections on three provisions related to “gender identity,” leaving the vast majority of the Department of Education’s (DOE’s) expanded rules alone. In April, the DOE issued guidance changing the scope of Title IX rules for educational institutions that receive federal funds. Title IX rules, which prohibit sex discrimination in schools, were expanded to include sexual orientation and “gender identity.” The rule changes would mean that male students who identify as female could use women’s restrooms and spaces and join women-only organizations. It would also expand the definition of “harassment” to include using a pronoun that aligns with sex at birth but conflicts with chosen gender identity. Schools that receive federal funding but refuse to comply risk losing that funding and facing lawsuits.

Buncombe schools blocked from implementing Title IX amendment protecting gay and transgender students from bullying, harassment Trump-appointed Kansas judge: Injunction bars schools where Moms for Liberty members’ children are enrolled from following measure A lawsuit backed by the national far-right Moms for Liberty organization is derailing Buncombe County schools’ plans to implement a new federal rule that would protect students from discrimination because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The rule, set to take effect Aug. 1, amends a section of Title IX, the landmark federal civil-rights law that prohibits discrimination in education stemming from race, color, religious affiliation, nationality or sex. Moms for Liberty joined a lawsuit challenging the rule, and a Trump-appointed U.S. District Court judge in Wichita who was assigned the case issued an injunction blocking the rule’s implementation pending a full trial. He ruled that the injunction would bar any school in any state where a child of a Moms for Liberty member is enrolled from following the measure. Political reporter Tom Fiedler has the story.
- New GOP Platform Turns RINO: Life begins at conception /Marriage between a man & a woman/ Defending Israel - Missing!
Fifteen years ago, WE - the grassroots movement - saw this coming. The GOP did not hold their Republican candidates accoutable to the GOP party platform, so we started the grassroots movement to the ire of the Party. We had no problem with the GOP Party Platform, just the leadership and their strategies. The GOP Platform contained the principles that reflected our Christian-Judeo values, embraced our unalienable rights and adhered to Constitutional principles. The Party faithful and leadership didn't seem to care about any of those things because they continued to fail to hold their candidates accountable to their own platform and to demonized us for exposing it. As they say, 'the chickens have now come home to roost!' There are planks in the platform that have now gone missing - gutted from the previous Platform. The next time someone asks you why you are not a Republican, you need to ask them these three questions whose answers set the Party apart. Do you support Israel? (It's missing in the new RINO Platform.) Do you believe that life begins at conception? (It too has gone missing in the new RINO Platform.) Do you believe that marriage is between a man and a woman? (What a concept! It's no longer defined in the new RINO Party Platform.) Then, YOU need to ask them: Why are YOU still a Republican? The next time anyone asks why the UNA's rank Number 1 for the largest segment of registered voters and growing, and the GOP ranks Number 3, look no further than the 'uniparty.' This is what happens when you compromise, cower, and grovel to become the Left leakys. The RINO takeover. The Grand Old Party has done an A+ job in their fulfillment of one of the 45 Goals of the Communist Party that was entered into the Congressional Record in January 10, 1963 : Capture one of both of the political parties. Isn't that just great! The hemorrhage from GOP ranks will now continue unabated since there is now really no reason to support the 'good ol' boys' club. Was this coming? Yep. Even NC legislature got on board by passing a state law that prohibits the political parties from closing the primaries in 2023 which would have driven Conservatives back to the GOP ranks. Thank mostly their feckless leader - Michael Whatley. The New RINO Party Platform: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/24795052-2024-gop-platform-july-7-final .

- How can NC stop illegal immigrants from registering to vote?
How can NC stop illegal immigrants from registering to vote? A NC Constitutional Amendment will be on the ballot in 2024. The amendment requires that “only a citizen of the US… is entitled to vote… in NC”. Our constitution currently says every person born in the US or naturalize is entitled to vote… The NC Constitutional Amendment on Citizen Only Voting does not require verification of citizen status. States are prohibited from asking for proof of citizenship for federal elections, but states can verify citizenship through state & federal sources. Contact KEY REPRESENTATIVES in the NC House · thank them for the citizen-only voting constitutional amendment and · ask for a new law to require citizenship verification using state & federal sources for new registrations before the 2024 election. These are the sources to recommend. Help America Vote Verification ( HAVV ) information system maintained by the Social Security Administration, the Electronic Verification of Vital Events ( EVVE ) look-up maintained by the National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems, state and federal Department of Transportation ( DOT ) databases. These are the Representatives to contact. They sponsored the constitutional amendment and may be interested in sponsoring a new bill to require citizenship verification for those registering to vote before the 2024 election. You can write one email including all of them with a subject line something like this - Requiring Citizenship Verification for new voter registrations in NC. Please put the information in your own words as much as possible. - As you celebrate the Fourth, ask: What have we and our lawmakers done about the fulfillment of the 45 Goals of the Communist Party for the past 61 years?
https://www.ethanallen.org/45_communist_goals_from_58_years_ago On the founding of our nation’s 248th birthday, it would be nice to set our eyes on the window displaying blue skies. But out on another window displays storm clouds. Montpelier’s decision to cancel any meaningful Fourth-of-July recognition along with our schools and our very own government promoting Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Black Lives Matter (BLM) tells us all we need to know about these ominous clouds. Both these movements are Marxist in origin. With CRT being a derivative of the German Marxist Frankfurt School and member Max Horkheimer’s 1937 essay titled ‘Traditional and Critical Theory’ and one BLM founder on record stating that they are trained Marxists. Communism’s 45 goals were read into the Congressional Record by Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr., (D-Florida), in 1963. These goals were gleaned from the testimony given to Congress by scholars and from the writings of current or former Communists. Socialism is seen as the bridge between Capitalism and Communism. The major difference between Socialism and Communism is in the method of takeover. Socialism (and Progressivism) believes that it can centralize all control of the individual, land and industry by peaceful, but gradual, legislation; whereas Communism seeks a violent and final confrontation to eliminate all dissension to achieve its Utopian goal of a Stateless and Classless society. But make no mistake; what is the same in all three ideologies is the desire to seize monolithic control of society. Mussolini termed this the Totalitarian Society: “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.” In order to get a better understanding of our storm clouds, let’s exam a few of the 45 Communist, and by extension Socialist and Progressive, goals that have been read into our Congressional Record: Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. Get control of the schools and teachers’ associations. Soften the curriculum. Gain control of all student newspapers. Infiltrate the press. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and pictures. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and press. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in the media. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.” Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principal of “separation of church and state.” Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate and old-fashioned. Discredit the American founding fathers as selfish aristocrats [and racists]. Belittle American culture and discourage the teaching of American history. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI. Infiltrate and gain control of big business and unions. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as mental health or social problems. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Repeal the Connally Reservation, allowing the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike. The Ethan Allen Institute’s John McClaughry and Rob Roper recently wrote of the means employed by the State of Vermont to achieve these socialist ends. Woodrow Wilson, the only President ever to possess a PhD, wrote of “separating politics from administration.” Wilson saw politics as dirty and corrupting and saw administration as pure and scientific. “Administration” and more specifically, centralized bureaucratic boards and agencies operating outside the purview of the legislative body, is clearly Vermont’s means to its socialist ends. To wit, Mr. McClaughry writes of the Vermont Council on Rural Development’s recently released “The Vermont Proposition” as follows: “Finally, the vision exhibits a glaring disparity between its enthusiasm for “democracy”, and its even greater enthusiasm for creating utterly undemocratic regional administrative bodies directed by an all-powerful State Planning Office that “would be responsible for the statewide community and economic development and land use plans on a five year cycle.” Presumably you could still vote for governor, but that scheme looks to me more like replacing local democracy with a hugely expanded and unaccountable administrative state.” Mr. Roper writes of the recently passed Vermont legislation calling for a major expansion of state-subsidized childcare from birth to five-year-olds titled ‘Let’s Grow Kids’. In a nutshell, it seeks to replace parenting with unionized daycare directed by an enlarged centralized state bureaucracy. Finally, the recently passed Global Warming Solutions Act sets up an unelected and unaccountable Vermont Climate Council to produce edicts which do not have to be voted on by Vermont’s legislators. Think of a construction scaffold covering a large building, that building representing our democracy or specifically our Constitutional Republic. What they are doing behind that covered scaffold is constructing a “new” regime. That regime allied far more closely with the 45 Communist goals than with the goals outlined in our Declaration of Independence some 248 years ago. God Bless the United States of America… as founded. Have The Goals Already Taken Place in America? All 45 Goals. Tom Licata lives in Burlington.
