WHY FARMERS DON’T WANT THE BOND

Ø THIS IS AN ADDITIONAL TAX BURDEN FOR THE TAXPAYER

Ø THE BOND IS FOR 25 MILLION.  ACTUAL COST IS APPROXIMATELY 39 MILLION

Ø DICTATES FARMING METHODS (STATE DEFINED ‘BEST MANAGEMENT’)

Ø 2% IMPERVIOUS LIMIT (CAN GO TO 5% BUT DIFFICULT

Ø LIMIT ON STORAGE OF MATERIALS

Ø NO GRADING WITHIN EASEMENTS

Ø NO SOD FARMING PERMITTED

Ø YEARLY INSPECTIONS FOR COMPLIANCE

Ø PENALITIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE

Ø PERCENTAGE OF EASEMENT VALUE FROM FARMERS IS REQUIRED

Ø CONSTRUCTION OR RECONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS REQUIRES WRITTEN PERMISSION AND CANNOT INCREASE ABOVE THE 2% MAXIMUM

Ø A BUILDING ENVELOPE MUST BE DETERMINED AND HELD TO FOR EXISTING AND FUTURE BUILDINGS.  HOW DOES ONE KNOW WHAT THEY MAY NEED OR HEIRS MAY NEED IN THE FUTURE?

Ø IMPERVIOUS REQURE WRITTEN PERMISSION

Ø RESTRICTIONS ON MOTORIZED VEHICLE USE

Ø BASICALLY THEY CAN STILL FARM BUT AS THE STATE DICTATES

Ø THEY WILL BE BEHOLDEN TO THE STATE

Who owns everything under Communism? (Be careful what you wish for.)

·       In communism, property—especially the means of production—is owned collectively by the community or the state, while personal possessions remain individually owned.

·       Collective Ownership of Means of Production

·       Under communist ideology, factories, land, and other productive assets are not privately owned. Instead, they are controlled collectively by the community or managed by the state on behalf of society The goal is to eliminate private ownership that allows individuals or corporations to profit from the labor of others, ensuring that resources are distributed according to societal needs rather than personal gain Centralized planning typically determines production, allocation, and distribution of goods to meet the collective good
