Constitutional Amendments:  VOTE FOR ALL 3

• Constitutional amendment to require all voters, not just those presenting to vote in person, to present photo identification before voting. FOR

  
  

• Constitutional amendment to keep the State income tax rate from being raised higher than three and one-half percent (3.5%). FOR

  
  

• Constitutional amendment requiring limits on property tax increases by local governments.  FOR

Henderson County Open Space Preservation Bond. VOTE NO

• Additional property taxes: For a homeowner with an assessed property value of about $400,000, the estimated annual property tax increase would be roughly $40.40 if the bond is approved Henderson County North Carolina.

  
  

• A sneaky corporate/government strategy of wrestling private property away from owners and they want taxpayers to pay for the land transfer - aka easement.

  
  

• Henderson County, North Carolina, will hold a $25 million General Obligation (G.O.) Bond Referendum on the November 2026 ballot to fund its Farmland Preservation Program. 

  
  

• This bond issue is a result of mismanagement by our commissioners of uncontrolled building and land development in Henderson County. SB257 sponsored by Republicans this year gets rid of zoning in NC. Taxpayers should not be paying for their egregious trampling of our individual rights.
