SUBJECT: Request for Logs of List Maintenance Activity

1. I am requesting a digital copy of all logs identifying _____ County’s voter list maintenance activity for the period 1 January 2022 through 15 January 2023. These records should identify the names, addresses, voter ID’s, and all other relevant voter registration data that was added, changed, or deleted. All voter registration status changes from active to inactive and vice versa should be indicated. All voter record merge activity should be included. Removal of deceased voters should be included. Removal of voters for reason of felony conviction should be included. Removal of voters for reason of non-citizen status should be included. All removals for reason of relocation should be included. All name changes for reason of marriage or divorce should be included. All changes due to update of voter information (such as corecting dates of birth) should be included.

2. "Public records" shall mean all documents, papers, letters, maps, books, photographs, films, sound recordings, magnetic or other tapes, electronic data-processing records, artifacts, or other documentary material, regardless of physical form or characteristics, made or received pursuant to law or ordinance in connection with the transaction of public business by any agency of North Carolina government or its subdivisions.

3. I am requesting this documentation be provided to me at no charge in an electronic format that is commonly machine readable (such as pdf, jpg, etc.) and in a common media form such as a thumb drive or DVD disc.
