Are you aware that The Flat Rock Playhouse, the North Carolina State Theater, is requiring vaccine passports accompanied by a photo ID? The NC General Assembly allocates our tax dollars to fund our NC state theater. If they continue to do so, they are funding fascism. This is not a Right-Left/Republican-Democrat issue. This is a violation of our civil rights guaranteed to us in The Bill of Rights. To make matters worse, the Flat Rock City Council and the Henderson County Commissioners also have allocated our tax dollars to the playhouse in the past. Make sure they don't do it in 2022.

The citizens of North Carolina never gave the NC General Assembly, the Flat Rock City Council, or the Henderson County Commissioners the right to tax us to violate our civil rights or to bar us from our theater. Since they have the authority to allocate our tax dollars, they have the authority to withhold them. January is month that they will be deciding on the 2022 budget. Make sure the General Assembly, the Flat Rock City Council, and the Henderson County Commissioners hear your voice. Don't fund their fascism! Freedom. Not Force.
