Senate Poised to Pass Penalties on Christians & Violation of Your Religions Freedom on Nov 28th.

The U.S. Senate is poised to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act on November 28. It not only endorses gay marriage, it brings penalties on Christians who object, a clear violation of the 1st Amendment. All the RINO Republican senators are voting for this including Burr, son of a Presbyterian minister who ran on a Christian platform.

Passage of this with GOP endorsement will make it harder for GOP candidates to get support from believers. The democrats are already congratulating themselves on turning the state purple. You can stop this. Read below and make phone calls!

Democrats' Religious Intolerance

The Democrats are trying to pass their “Respect for Marriage Act” (RFMA) which would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) that declared marriage to be between one man and one woman.

This Act however, would be redundant and have no effect on marriage in America because of the Supreme Court’s Obergfell and Windsor decisions which already effectively repealed the DOMA law.

Who this bill would really affect are religious institutions and individuals who believe marriage only exists between one man and one woman. Institutions like religiously affiliated schools, charities, adoption centers, non-profits, businesses etc… would be subject to lawsuits and the revocation of tax status for simply disagreeing with any marriage other than the conjugal marriage between a man and a woman.

To help set the record straight on what exactly is in this bill, Roger Severiono of The Heritage Foundation breaks down 7 myths surrounding what would happen if it passes.

The bill is currently being debated over in the Senate and needs 60 votes to advance to final passage.

You can take action. CALL your Senator and tell them to vote “NO” on the “Respect for Marriage Act.”
